Aspis

A rucksack for drones, because the drones keep breaking in transit.

What it does

Aspis is a modular rucksack that protects Group 1 attack and reconnaissance drones during movement, keeps the signature lower than vehicle transport, and deploys in under 60 seconds without the operator taking the ruck off. Adjustable panels fit different airframes and prop sizes in the field, and it works with MOLLE 2, MOLLE 4000 Airborne, and ALICE frames. The company is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, and the problem it went after is the unglamorous one: teams carrying attritable aircraft into contested ground have nowhere good to put them.
