LADRS (Laser Aiming & Drone Remote System)

Weapon-Mounted drone control for the modern battlefield. Think PEQ-15 that also controls drones.

What it does

The LADRS mounts to a Picatinny rail like a PEQ-15 and connects to a drone. The operator aims the rifle, presses a button or two, and the aircraft runs the mission, including tasks like entering a building through a window and scanning inside. The problem it targets is specific: when a soldier picks up a joystick he stops being combat effective, and someone else has to secure him. Removing the traditional joystick also removes most of the training pipeline. The founder is an IDF infantry captain with more than 550 combat days in the current war.
